Light Skinned
Directed by Aaron Royce Jones
Ronald, a mixed-race actor, enters a commercial audition and meets Ted, a turtleneck-wearing director convinced he knows what “real Blackness” sounds like. As Ted’s direction spirals from clueless to absurd, Light Skinned asks what it costs to perform the version of yourself the industry wants to buy.
