Paul Loughridge describes himself as a “found objects sculptor.” I happened upon his work at a crafts fair in Northern California and was captivated by how he combines old sprockets, dishes, handles, utensils, and connectors whose function is past. Viewers are treated to a glimpse of his creative process and a dance of characters, proud and thrilled with their new life.
