Arlene
Directed by Elizabeth Dement
Kansas, 1982. John, a young, inexperienced, closeted pastor, is called on to counsel Arlene, an older, outspoken parishioner with terminal cancer. The story follows her final days, as these two outsiders negotiate a connection, trust and acceptance of each other - as well as themselves - that allows them both to find peace.
