The 12th annual San Jose International Short Film Festival became SJSFF: The Home Edition, a fully online festival streamed October 22–25, 2020. Twenty programs of curated film blocks were joined by filmmaker Q&As, a Meet the Filmmaker session, a virtual VIP wine-pairing screening and musical guests Veronica Fusaro, Hamish Anderson and Gina Brooklyn. White Eye, directed by Tomer Shushan, was named Best of Show and went on to earn an Academy Award nomination for Best Live Action Short Film.
